Rated: Intermediate Arrangement
This arrangement has a bit of tradition with the silver cup and tray, with a modern twist as the arrangement is asymmetrical. It pairs the dark burgundy of the season with yellow and green and the berries provide a little splash of orange. Your eye moves left to right on a diagonal and back around again. The lacy Eucalyptus Leaves accentuate the diagonal lines in the arrangement, and the curly twisting Jasmine Vine that I cut from my fence gives a few surprise turns. Silver makes us think of time and tradition, our mothers and grandmothers. This is a happy mix of flowers.
Most of the flowers are from the market. The white David Austin Rose, however, is from my garden...yeah, the bareroot rose I planted in the spring survived and bloomed. If you have your flowers, cup, foam and tools I will show you all the steps below. Are you ready?
