The red Camellias in this Valentine arrangement are known as Kramer’s Supreme. They are showy and large and even more stunning in person. Here they are paired with pink Garden Roses. Camellias are not known for being extremely long lasting as cut flowers, but putting flower food in the water will help them last longer. When you have several bushes, you can replace them in this easy arrangement. They are free and they are lovely.
The Tea Leaf (Aspidistra also known as "Cast Iron Plant") grows outside my front door. You can use Tea Leaves to line vases or you can staple the leaf in a loop to add to an arrangement like this one: https://www.floristinyou.com/-sunflowers
Or you can pierce the leaf to make a loop like this: https://www.floristinyou.com/sunflowers
NOTE: While making this arrangement, I added the Tea Leaf in the vase for color and balance.
If you want to plant a Camellia bush in your yard you can find them along with other rare camellias here: https://www.nucciosnurseries.com/index.php/camellias/camellia-japonicas/kramers-supreme-detail
Don’t forget, you will need to wire your roses. To wire them correctly see: https://www.floristinyou.com/prep
If you have your flowers and supplies, let’s begin.
