You know, you go online and order flowers that comes in a box. They arrive and look pretty, but how do you arrange an online bouquet in your vase? Here is a trick to make that bouquet look pretty in almost any vase. For instance, I received a beautiful birthday bouquet from my son and a gorgeous yellow hand blown Art Deco vase from my good friend, so I thought, "I'll put the birthday bouquet in the birthday vase." My first attempt failed! I thought the marbles would hold the stems, but the vase is wide at the top and the stems splayed out. "Now," I thought, "I'm goin' for the waterproof tape to keep the stems in place." Tip: use marbles and a grid of waterproof tape. It worked like a charm. You can buy marbles like I used (click here) and you can buy the waterproof tape (click here).
