Garden Rose Bouquet $10
What you need:
- 18 Garden Roses (you will cut them from 18.5 - 20 inches)
- 6 pieces 18 gauge wire cut into thirds
- 1 ten inch high x 4.5 Diam. crystal vase

All you need for this arrangement is 18 Garden Roses, your mother's crystal vase and a few floral wires. First remove the thorns and any leaves that will be below the water and then wire the roses. See this post for instructions: http://www.floristinyou.com/prep
Then make a hand held bouquet, cut the bouquet while you are holding it and put it in the vase. It's that simple. So get your roses and your mother's crystal vase and let's begin.
Pour water to a couple inches below rim.
These roses have variegated petals.
And the petals have ruffles.
Start grouping your bouquet on a table.
Get one side done first.
Have tallest roses in the middle.
Graduate down in size to the front.
Keep adding slowly.
Until other side is done.
Cut bottom of stems.
Like so.
You're ready to put them in the vase.
The vertical lines in the crystal optically distort the image of the stems making a design of its own.
Simple and elegant. You are done.
